The Beehive faithful will most definitely root and cheer while reading Books Build Character by my dear friend Headmistress over at The Common Room.
Really, you will. You will also learn why Lucy Steele is a person you must know sooner than later.

Along these lines, sort of, I'd love to see one of you Beehivers argue against Victorian-era sentimentality being a worthy model for the development of spiritual discernment in young girls ... or is this not the proper forum for that?
Oh, dear.....this is one of our soapboxes....are you sure you want us to get started?????
:-)
very nice discourse, very nice!
Victorian Era sentimentality? If we're going to diss Elsie Dinsmore I want to play.;-)
I say go for it! Make it Open Mike Night ... I'd love to hear all the views and reasonings.
Headmistress, you are positively psychic! Barber Shoppe's comment is a quote she lifted from something I said today about -- guess who? -- Elsie Dinsmore, of course (on an email list)! I fear we're becoming the Mom with Two Brains, my friend.
Are you sure we have two brains? Perhaps it's more that between the two of us, we have a well rounded personality?
