Speaking of bluegrass...

I've got some CDs I should copy and send you. I read about Nickel Creek on your blog and checked eMusic for them (I have a monthly subscription). They don't have Nickel Creek, but they referred me to some groups that were like Nickel Creek, and it's some of my favorite stuff. They could be people you've never heard of: Crooked Still, The Greencards, Adrienne Young. Anyway, indirectly you introduced me to them and maybe you'd like them, too.

I know it's for a good cause, but i'm stunned speechless by the length of the boy's legs, the phenomenon of which is accentuated by him standing on a trampoline and by Beatrice taking the picture from the floor. ::whew::

The first thing that entered my mind was "Kangaroo Cowboy". I make allowances for dinosaurs. Perhaps, "Kangaroo Cowboy Plays for Audience of One". ;)

sooo.....does the trampoline help with stage dives?

"Loredo, the Bluegrass playin', Brontosauraus wranglin' cowboy struck again today in the Lassader County Library. He stunned the ancient reptile with a mix of "Chicken in the Breadpan Pickin' Out Dough" and "Fire on the Mountain, Run Boy Run". The beast surrendered himself in the nonfiction section."

I know how the dinosaur feels...that's about the way I feel when I'm standin next to him!

~e already said the first one that popped into my mind..."I guess that's just the cowboy in me".

was the dinosaur placed there for the picture or was it just randomly sitting there? It's cute..

Aoife O'Donovan, (vocals and guitar for Crooked Still) plays fiddle for The Wayfaring Strangers, the fantastic eclectic group that melds jazz/swing/gospel and klezmer with bluegrass/folk.

i think van danne's caption takes the prize. of course, it's not for me to say...

floating saucer of doom... it's got a ring to it.

yep. van danne wins it. yay, van danne.

floating saucer of doom. sorry. i just had to say it again.

i think our trampoline just got itself a name.

how about: "Andrew Lifts His Baby Finger to Amuse Bruce Women and They Respond With Flattering Abundance of Homage and Hilarity."

"floating saucer of doom" totally rocks.

I think multifarious' fits best, but van danne's is the greatest!
