fa-so-la-la

the graduates

Claire and me singing 'My Heart is Sair,' by Robert Burns, with Logan playing guitar (thank you again!)

the part where we all bragged on each other, and meant it wholeheartedly

diploma-ing

...and here we are trying to realise that it's actually over.

So I'm finding that graduation is one of those funny things that, despite the fact that you know all your life will happen, you never actually believe until you find yourself standing in front of 200 people holding a diploma. It is rather strange to be graduated. I mean to say, don't you know, that means I'm not homeschooled anymore. That is wierd. It's always slightly disorienting when one of the defining things about you changes.

Thank you so, so much to all the people who put so much effort into our graduation. It was really wonderful, and we all appreciate it so much.

(p. s. if you were wondering why on earth we haven't posted lately, this is why. Normal operation to resume after singing school season)

Congrats!

Also any chance you have any sort of recording of the two of you singing that you might let me borrow. I am working through a few of Robert Burns pieces, and one is "My Heart is Sair."

Also I'm loving the shoes, fa-so-la-la.

I don't even have a diploma, actually! :-) What's the point, other than to wonder what to do with it when your fifty?
