I"m happy you like Frank Sinatra.
Really. Truly.
(Now, I think he sounds oily, myself.)
I'm happy you like Frank Sinatra.
It's so perfect--
Another small piece of you, who I love.

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Little did I know when I turned a page and came upon this passage well over a decade ago that my children's lives would be immeasurably ...

Sweet.
My sentiments exactly.
I love Frank Sinatra. My personal favorites: The Last Dance, I've Got the World on a String and I Won't Dance which is probably the most essential guy song by Franky Baby.
Was that another bit of postmodern poetry there?
I must confess I am with you, Dodger. I did not get it...
Well, looks like I've got some splainin' to do...
This was written for a very dear friend. I was just thinking about how our tastes diverged on some points, but I wouldn't want her to change and agree with me for the world. Her fondness for ol' Frank is one of the many little things that add together to make her someone I love.
You can't pick and choose which parts of people you are going to love. You have to take the entire person, every quirk, every opinion, every bad habit, every glory, and love all of it together, the whole glorious mess that makes that person *themself.*
On top of that, why on this earth or the next would I want all my friends to be just like me? I'm not terribly impressed with me. :-)
Very true. That's some pretty awesome cogitatin' there Fa-So-La.
If i ever think that in depth or that much my brain begins to hurt.
I do like Frank Sinatra though
Did you not say these same words to me when you saw the picture of good ole Frank in my room?
