I am Elinor Dashwood

Fa-So-La-La

Who are you? Take the quiz! (Come on, fellows -- you can do it, too.)

(Don't try the link on the Elinor thumbnail -- it's defunct as of yesterday, apparently!)

According to the new quiz, I am

"The Pride and Prejudice type: Truly an Austenite,
this type is a Romantic at heart, but they
always keep their head and are wary of
melodrama. Lively, clever, and independent.
These people are easily amused by their own
foibles and the quirkly foibles of others. They
lament society today, and dream of the time
when guys were gentlemen and girls were ladies."

I took it twice and turned out as either the P&P type, or the S&S type.
In every other quiz, I have turned out to be Marianne.

And Fa-So-La-La always turns out to be Elinor...

Oh, dear.

:feels sudden and dire need for tea and smelling salts:

If Jane's famous example holds, one might forecast that Mamadah here could be in for a tumultuous decade. (Unless the eligible young men in our acquaintance test out as Knightly rather than Willoughby... aHA...perhaps it's time to construct a male verson of the test... hmmm...)

:leaves to take a nap and hopes to dream of once again having little girls in smocked pinafores and hair ribbons:

:reconsiders, and with a clearer head calls Great Scot with instructions to buy stock in Kleenex instead:

Honestly.. *yawns* Was this ever a question? Wow. Uh, actually, I just now read it and that's me! Half of the questions actually having anything to do with the books I just gave the answer I found most endearing. I like 2 by 4s, for example. I handled a number of those very things today! Most loervingly to handle wood, is it I do believe today!

I am the Mansfield Park type, which leaves me in bewilderment if I should be pleased or disappointed. I have not yet read that book.

I took the Strangegirl.com quiz when I was at your house after HH, and it said that I was Marianne Dashwood.

After taking this other quiz, it said I was the Pride and Prejudice type.

I must admit...I am happy with both outcomes.

I feel guilty for taking this test.. 8-[!

I haven't read the books and thus I feel like I lied when I answered questions I had no opinions on, oh, dear me... *sniff* Well, go on as you always do. I'll recover slowly, but probably'll end up alright in the end.
