All Grown Up

Fa-So-La-La

As Spuddy Buddy matures, the ethical, moral, and practical dilemmas here at the Beehive are becoming increasingly complex.

The latest instance:

Spuddy Buddy, to me this morning, upon my discovery that he had worn the same pair of, ahem, unmentionables for more days in a row than I care to think about:

"Well, Sister, you see, Mamadah and Daddy say that since I'm such a big boy now, I can wear underwear three days in a row!"

Uh-huh. Yeah. I'm sure.

I am so glad to know that somebody else's little boy does this. I think that the socks belonging to a certain member of my family could be sent to our soldiers and used as biological weapons.

Uhh... I think Daddy should handle this one.

Two days would have been fine, if he is thinking to turn them inside out, but three is pushing it... ::giggles and smiles::

Justin,

If you would like to follow in Graham's footsteps, you should change your underwear every night!

Then there was the little girl who went to visit her grandmother, (who happened to be Elizabeth Elliot),for a whole week. The grandmother noticed when she hugged her that the child seemed to have extra padding below the belt, but thought nothing more of it.

On the 3rd day of her stay, Grandmother decided to inquire and even investigate the seeming abnormality. Upon questioning, the little girl admitted proudly that it was all her own idea. She knew that she should take a pair of panties for every day of her visit, so she decided to just put all seven of them on before she left home, and...(yes, I'm afraid so)...take the outermost pair off every night before she went to bed.

True story.

And then there's the classic Brett's-first-year-at-HH story-- he was about 10 if I remember right, and Sister Lauretta told him to come back with all seven pairs of underwear or else. So Saturday morning he randomly grabbed seven pair from the boy's dressing room and crammed them in his suitcase. My, my, my.
